The Articles 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, and 9 for the provisions of Basic Science Research Institute at Chungbuk National University are deciding on installing the committee, research department, and necessary departments as follows in order to supervise the research in each field for basic science and the general research related to this aiming to qualitatively enhance natural-science education and to promote development in natural science.

ⓑ Publication committee : Deliberating on theses and editing theses in accordance with issuing the collected papers for research institute
ⓒ Steering committee : Deliberating on important matters in relation to operating research institute and to research activities
ⓓ Organizer : Assisting all the duties for research institute
ⓔ Mathematics research department : Researching into the fields of pure and applied mathematics
ⓕ Computer-science research department : Researching into the fields of computer system and system software
